Made a little time today to update the blog. Check out the new header -- I love playing in Photoshop :)

Nice pimpage!
Gotta love that classic Citroen, my Dad restored one, sadly before I was born :(
Is it yours?

LOL Re: Pimpage! (I was initially thinking of writing "MySpace ain't got nuthin' on me!" -- then I realized I didn't have sparkly glitter.)
The car: Nope, not mine (sadly? Not so sure -- not a big car fan -- especially the maintenance bit but I do love seeing classic cars!)
By the way, since I don't appear to be finding the time to modify the blog template today to add the credits, I'll do it here:
The image of the car used in the header is by Till Krech who kindly released it under the Creative Commons Attribution License on Flickr.

By the way, some spoilers:
The buildings you can faintly make out are actually in my neighbourhood (how British am I becoming by spelling it that way) -- that picture was taken with a 360 panoramic lens and I used it without converting the polar image to linear (and hence the ridiculous fisheye effect.)
The picture of me was taken before a costume party with the theme "pimps and whores". (In case you're wondering, I went as the former!) Check out the bling on the fingers! And that's a red and black feather boa around my neck and a fedora on my head :) (And you should have seen the red velvet coat I had underneath.)
The texture is a combination of a closeup of the feather boa and a marble/granite texture I photographed at various blend modes. (Oh yes and there's a lens flare behind the car/on my pic.)

Who doesn't love classic cars? Seems everybody does and hollywood has jumped on the bandwagon too. You see them in just about every movie and TV show now.
