Pike Place Market
I'm finally getting the chance to blog and I'm going to fight the urge to make the first post about my sessions :)
I got here on Saturday night and had a free day on Sunday so I decided to take a walk around the downtown area, ending up at a lovely little indoor market called Pike Place Market. Apparently it's quite a landmark and it's easy to see why. It's lovely. Felt just like Istiklal Caddesi Istanbul or maybe the North Laine in Brighton, with lots of little independent stores and great fresh fish (some of which happened to be flying through the air), flowers, antiques, etc.
I hope I'll get to see more of the city before I leave on Friday morning.

If you get a chance you might want to venture south of downtown and check out Pioneer Square. It's on south 1st ave, about ten blocks south of pike place market. Also if you get a chance to make it back to the market during the day go to the Market Grill for the grilled halibut. its pretty good!!
i saw all of you sessions and loved them. hope to see you soon.

That's exactly what I had at the Market Grill -- what a great place, isn't it? The guy who runs it is very neat and he's actually off for a vacation in Istanbul soon so I gave him the name of a place where they make an amazing deep-fried muscle sandwich :)
Thank-you for your kind words regarding my sessions, btw. I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed them.
Hope to see you at the conference today!
